About Us

WHO WE ARE

The Greater Victoria Dog Obedience Training Club (GVDOTC) is an All Breed (purebreds) and mixed-breed dog training club. We are licensed by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and are a member of the Association of Island Obedience Clubs (AIOC). Our club operates under a dedicated volunteer board. We rely on membership and lesson income for our operating expenses.

WHAT WE DO

The GVDOTC has proudly provided dog obedience and training lessons to Greater Victoria dog owners for over 60 years. We rely on volunteers for our instructors. We draw our teaching talent from the local dog community. Our experienced instructors find value in sharing their knowledge and skill. They enjoy helping people who want to increase their own understanding of canine interactions in a positive way. We believe that excellent communication skills ultimately helps build a better relationship with your canine companion.
